Instructions

  1. Fill a medium sized pot with one inch of water
  2. Season the water with a pinch of salt and bring to a boil
  3. Cook the pasta at a medium-high temperature
  4. Occasionally stir while allowing the pasta water to reduce
  5. Add ground black pepper to a separate pan on medium heat and stir for 1-2 minutes until fragrant
  6. Once the pasta is al dente (cooked through but still has some bite), and pasta water is nearly all absorbed, turn off the heat and mix in the black pepper and parmesan cheese
  7. Slowly stir and mix in olive oil and salt
  8. Garnish with black pepper, extra virgin olive oil, and grated parmesan cheese
